Description
A duck (Hooded Merganser, Kappensäger in German) for the son of a friend of mine, who likes ducks (he's ten).
Charcoal, coloured charcoal and aquarell pencil on coloured Ingres paper.
I'm fairly happy with it, though I could have done better on the reddish-brown feathers on its wings. One roblem was that the aquarell pencils didn't do so well on the paper, another was that I don't have the patience for that kind of work right now. I like the fuzzy look on his white "helmet", though.
